About

Waylyn Liu as a creative designer from SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) with a M.F.A. in Themed Entertainment Design. Have two years of working experience in the themed entertainment industry and strong storytelling skills in the conceptual design of world-building and narrative spaces. 

 

In 2021, Waylyn graduated from SIVA (Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts) with a B.A. in Themed Environment Design, won the title of outstanding undergraduate graduate and won many awards, including second place in the Disney Imagination Shanghai Competition. Specialize in narrative experience, space modeling, hand drawing, and software applications.

With two years of working experience in the theme entertainment industry, Waylyn have participated in several theme parks and theme playground projects, mainly responsible for the initial creative and concept design part and as the director of the theme entertainment creative projects.

The research is focused on narrative space design based on world-building and creating an immersive experience with filmmaking theory. Waylyn is good at creative design and cultural tourism and entertainment space with an in-depth understanding and practice. Waylyn have rich interdisciplinary professional knowledge covering multiple space practices such as interior design, display design, landscape design, pavilion design, scene design, and installation design.
